Why proper wood drying matters

Freshly cut wood holds a lot of moisture and, if left to dry uncontrolled, can warp, crack or suffer biological attack. Artificial drying, in a climate-controlled chamber, reduces the wood's moisture to a stable target value, controlling temperature and air humidity throughout the whole cycle. The result is dimensionally stable timber, ready for processing, assembly or construction, with no risk of later warping.
